tbh the drops arent that good, real farmers wont bother with this run.
and besides. Players that do HoH spend roughly 15 minutes and all they get rewarded with is a gold item, I don't see how this PvE run differ, keep it in my opinion or scale down the chest so it drops less valuable items...

Man, i just find out about this stuff yesterday and bucks says its nerfed before the week is over Same thing that happened with urgoz solo(good times).
But at least i got some money to finish my 15k kurz warrior armor.
TY gold polymock piece
Would be nice if this didn't get such a brutal nerf.

People are already complaining that they don't get very good drops from enemies. The only 2 golds ive had drop were 2 unmax golds, a hammer and a bow

You do have a chance of a good gold , a boss item , polymock piece, a gem but the odds are that you probably won't get one.

Then again... HoS isn't that consistent, so everything you get is all luck. Someone could do this for 24 hours straight and not get an elemental sword. This has, though, become an easy way to get money without DOING anything. I like to afk alot and let other people run it, and only help during the last level. It's worth it, considering I hardly have to do anything

I wonder if they consider this an "exploit" like they did with the urgoz spirit solo.
Course they didn't ban anyone for it.
I think that if this was a soloable run, maybe. But I'm actually going in a PuG now
*sigh* R.I.P HoS CR

Actually... this is very well soloable. It's just faster with a PuG and there's no downside to it (Except when they afk and don't resign or something like that).
The build I use...
[skill]Sprint[/skill][skill]Dash[/skill][skill]Death's Charge[/skill][skill]"I Am Unstoppable!"[/skill][skill]Shadow Form[/skill][skill]Signet of Stamina[/skill][skill]Endure Pain[/skill][skill]Feigned Neutrality[/skill]
At level 1 of HoS, hit I am Unstoppable early on and then run past the spiders (Whose monster effect won't cripple you at all). When near the snowball throwing machine in the water that is filled with those chained monk dudes... hit a death's charge on one and hit unstoppable again to avoid cripples and knockdowns (Shock and Hamstring). Once reaching the skelks near Budger, hit Shadow Form and avoid getting close to them (Chilbains) and run to level 2. Everything should be easy after that... Binding "Drop Item" to a key can help, when your spamming kegs.

The NERF is coming!
Hide your children.
Read somewhere today(forget where), semi-official word from Anet that they were working on a nerf.
Not sure if I should call GW:en
Eye of the Nerf
or
Exploit of the North
Maybe
Exploit of the Nerf, fits best...

Sounds real realiable. But honestly, I would be surprised if they aren't thinking of a way to stop this. The only thing that'll be keeping me from it will be the double faction weekend.

Having ANet leave this alone is probably wishful thinking on all of our parts. It's bringing far too many Onyx Gemstones into the economy. They've already dropped down to their pre-Duncan-nerf rates.
ANet could remove the destroyable-with-keg walls and Budger Blackpowder entirely unless the Heart of the Shiverpeaks quest was active. However, it would still be runnable, and you could probably change the basic runner builds (all this takes at the moment) into something that could fight through the blob boss at the end.
ANet will probably add a Boss key somewhere and a locked door to the final room. It seems the easiest way to impede dungeon runners.

It's still not as bad as duncan was. This run brings in 1-2 onyx per run while Duncan was dropping 7 per run.

You already have 1-4 keys by default. Switching weaponsets by hitting F1-F4, or even hitting your current weaponset key has a side effect of dropping whatever you are carrying. Just don't look for drops by pressing ALT while switching to your 4th weaponset at the same time, or you may encounter a "crash bug," heh.
I was wondering what all the HoS CR spam was about, now that everyone here knows too, a nerf can't be far behind. I'd love to be wrong, but that seems to be ANet's modus operandi.

I've done the run about 40 times. I' haven't gotten anything good haha. I found out about it on accident too, before everyone started running it.

Eh, what?
First off, the only thing Anet is "balancing" is PvP... or have you forgotten all the unbalanced PvE skills, comsumables, title effects, etc that are PvE only?
Second, how does having the price of an item go down "unbalance" anything? It makes things more balanced, as more people can afford them...
